Introduction

The new Hearthstone mini-set, Traveling Travel Agency, has finally been released! It brought us 38 new cards, and four legendaries!

Mini-sets have always been a great tool for players, considering we don't need good RNG to get the cards we want from them. We can just get them for 2.000 gold (or US$14.99), and get everything in it. You can also get the golden version for 10.000 coins (or US$69.99).

We at Cards Realm reviewed this entire set. Let's take a look at the four legendary minions and all the other interesting cards, as they might change the meta. Check it out!

Best Cards from Traveling Travel Agency

The most stylish and flashy minions are definitely legendary minions. It is impossible to ignore them, so let's start our review with them!

Dreamplanner Zephrys

Dreamplanner Zephrys is basically an upgraded version of Zephrys the Great, as you'll be able to pick one of its three tours and potentially get two "perfect" cards according to the tour you picked.

These tours interact with different strategies throughout the match. For instance, they may offer you cards that spend a lot of mana, deal a lot of damage to the enemy hero, or impact with the enemy board. Keep in mind that the tour you pick will give you two potentially "perfect" cards for their particular strategy.

This card is cheap, so you'll be able to use it in numerous instances. For instance, you can use it to finish matches or just clear the enemy board.

I consider it a great way to get more resources. As you can get "perfect" cards with it, you may say Dreamplanner Zephrys will be a versatile card that fits most decks, particularly as it is a neutral minion - so we can use it in any list.

It is certainly one of the strongest cards from this set.

Turbulus

This is a Shaman minion that has the keyword Hunter Tourist. So, it lets you add Hunter cards to its deck, even if it's a Shaman deck. It also gives +1/+1 to any Battlecry minions in your hand, deck, and battlefield.

Turbulus is an Elemental. Coincidently, Elemental Shamanlink outside website is one of the best lists in Standard right now and has a very high win rate. It even plays many Battlecry minions. It is undeniable that Turbulus was made to fit this deck, so I expect it will perform very well in it and make it even stronger and striking.

I solely believe Elemental Shaman will become stronger than average with this addition, but I confess I don't see much use for his Hunter Tourist. Maybe it will make more sense in Wild decks or in a future meta. For now, it is a bit useless.

Portalmancer Skyla

Portalmancer Skyla is a Mage, and a Rogue Tourist.

She'll certainly be popular in decks like Big Spell Mage, considering Mage is known for playing powerful, but expensive, spells. Being able to swap the cost of cards in your hand will be extremely valuable in these cases.

But you can forget about her if you're building faster, aggressive decks. Portalmancer Skyla will only be useful alongside expensive spells.

Travelmaster Dungar

Travelmaster Dungar might be the most specific card in this entire mini-set. It summons up to three minions that are in your deck and are from different expansions.

In heavier lists with big minions, I believe the fact it costs 9 mana will not be too much. But then you'll have a challenge: you'll have to think of a synergy between three different expansions, and picking big-bodied minions won't always be enough.

If we ever find a class with three cards with effects that interact together and are from different sets, I believe Travelmaster Dungar will find some space in the meta. In the end, however, it might just be too specific.

Now that we have covered all the legendary minions in this set, let's see the other relevant cards.

Carnivorous Cubicle

Carnivorous Cubicle destroys a minion and summons a copy of it at the end of your turns.

I found this card quite strong for two reasons: straight away, at the end of the turn you played it, it will already summon the first copy for you, and won't let your opponent react. The fact it is a neutral minion is also interesting, as it is more flexible, and we'll be able to use it in any deck.

Deadline

With this card, you'll be able to destroy any minion for just two mana, quite literally.

We do have to factor in its weakness, which is its keyword, Temporary (you have to discard this card if it's in your hand at the end of the turn), but its Tradeable effect lets you return it to your deck for one mana and mitigates this downside entirely.

Handle with Bear

Druid has a lot of card draw, so we'll probably have Handle With Bear in our hands really early on. From then on, you just have to wait until the right time to play it, and then wait until your Bears are unstoppable.

Reserved Spot

Warrior mostly plays minions with Rush or Charge, so giving one of them +4/+4 with Reserved Spot might be fundamental to guarantee a win. With this card, you'll have a powerful minion that is ready to attack the turn you play it.

Please note that you can also discount its cost by 2 if it's the only minion in your hand.

Punch Card

Granting +3 attack to a hero is already quite efficient for Warrior. The fact this card gives it "also damages adjacent minions" as well is incredible.

Imployee of the Month

Warlock deals damage to itself, so they're always on the verge of dying and losing the game. This makes Lifesteal essential to this class, and giving it to a minion for just two mana is excellent.

The fact you'll be able to give Lifesteal to another minion and not only Imployee of the Month itself is already great. For instance, you can give Lifesteal to a powerful minion that is ready to attack and get even more value out of its effect.

Final Words

The Traveling Travel Agency mini-set, in general, is quite strong, and I believe it will highly impact the meta. Big Spell Mage and Elemental Shaman, alongside their new additions, Portalmancer Skyla and Turbulus, will probably stand out the most during the first week.
