De Blade Sliver-kaart is het meest geschikt voor een Sliver tribal-deck in Magic: the Gathering, waar de synergie met andere Sliver-wezens een krachtige en agressieve strategie kan creëren. Hoewel Blade Sliver een stevige boost geeft aan alle Slivers, zijn er betere opties om Sliver-strategieën te verbeteren, zoals Muscle Sliver of Predator Sliver, die meer impact hebben. Blade Sliver kan echter nog steeds een levensvatbare opname zijn in een Sliver-deck en kan worden gespeeld afhankelijk van de algemene strategie en synergie van het deck.
