Een kaartspel dat zich richt op het verstoren van de artefacten en betoveringen van tegenstanders, zoals een op groen gebaseerd besturings- of middentonendek, zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Containment Breach. Hoewel het veelzijdigheid biedt door een wezen-token te leveren als de manawaarde van het doelwit laag is, zijn er efficiëntere opties zoals Naturalize of Return to Nature die vergelijkbare effecten kunnen bieden zonder de voorwaardelijke token-creatie. Containment Breach zou situationeel spel kunnen opleveren in decks die op zoek zijn naar extra waarde door goedkope artefacten of betoveringen te vernietigen.
