Een Control Demon Hunter-deck zou het meeste baat hebben bij het gebruik van Deal with a Devil, omdat het zowel aanwezigheid op het bord als levensstelen biedt om agressie tegen te gaan. Hoewel Deal with a Devil onder de juiste omstandigheden krachtig kan zijn, zijn er mogelijk betere opties zoals Consume Magic of Eye Beam, die onmiddellijke verwijdering of genezingsopties bieden. Over het algemeen hangt het al dan niet spelen van Deal with a Devil af van het specifieke kaartspel en de bijbehorende strategie.
