About Draco
Draco, Artefactwezen - draak, designed by Sam Wood first released in Feb, 2001 in the set Planeshift and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Een kaartspel dat zich richt op een veelkleurige strategie met toegang tot meerdere basislandtypen zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Draco, omdat het tegen lagere kosten kan worden uitgebracht op basis van het aantal basislandtypen onder de landen die je beheert. Er zijn echter waarschijnlijk betere opties beschikbaar voor dure, vliegende wezens in Magic: the Gathering die een directere impact hebben of gemakkelijker consistent kunnen worden gecast, zoals de iconische Eldrazi-wezens zoals Emrakul en de Aeons Torn. Draco heeft misschien moeite om spel in competitieve decks te zien vanwege de hoge manakosten en onderhoudsvereisten, maar hij zou mogelijk een thuis kunnen vinden in casual of themadecks die kunnen profiteren van zijn unieke vaardigheden.

A number of nonbasic lands have basic land types. Domain abilities don’t count the number of lands you control — they count the number of basic land types among lands you control, even if that means checking the same land twice. For example, if you control a Tundra, an Overgrown Tomb, and a Madblind Mountain, you’ll have a Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest among the lands you control. Your domain abilities will be maxed out.

To determine the number of basic land types among lands you control, look at the lands you have on the battlefield and ask yourself whether the subtypes Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest appear within that group. The number of times you say yes (topping out at five) tells you how powerful your domain abilities will be.
