**Flash Flood** past het beste in een **control- of midrange Demon Hunter-deck** dat efficiënte boardcontrole wil, vooral tegen brede of op tempo gebaseerde decks die afhankelijk zijn van het positioneren van waardevolle volgelingen aan de randen (zoals Deathrattle of aura-minions). De breekpunten van 5 schade zijn sterk voor verwijdering in het midden van het spel, en het **Outcast**-effect geeft het een sterk swingpotentieel (tot 10 gerichte schade verdeeld over twee herhalingen), wat goed synergiseert met traditionele Outcast-gerichte Demon Hunter-builds die de handpositionering manipuleren. De effectiviteit ervan hangt echter sterk af van de plaatsing van vijandelijke minions, waardoor het enigszins inconsistent is in vergelijking met betrouwbaardere AoE- of verwijderingstools.
