Immersturm Predator zou nuttig zijn in een kaartspel dat zich richt op kerkhofinteractie, het opofferen van wezens en agressieve strategieën. Hoewel het potentiële waarde biedt met de mogelijkheid om kaarten van begraafplaatsen te verbannen en sterker te worden, zijn er mogelijk betere opties in het formaat zoals Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger, wat een impactvoller effect oplevert. However, if you do choose a target, and that card is an illegal target as the ability tries to resolve, the ability won’t resolve and none of its effects will happen. In that case, you won’t put a +1/+1 counter on Immersturm Predator.
