Een Ley Druid-kaart zou nuttig zijn in een ramp-deck dat zich richt op het versnellen van de manaproductie om snel dure spreuken uit te spreken. Hoewel Ley Druid land kan ontginnen voor extra mana, zijn er efficiëntere opties zoals Birds of Paradise of Llanowar Elves die zorgen voor mana-versnelling zonder dat je hoeft te tikken om land te ontginnen. Ley Druid ziet misschien niet veel spel in competitieve decks vanwege de hogere kosten en minder efficiënte vaardigheden in vergelijking met andere mana-dorks.
