Een deck dat profiteert van Rubblehulk is een landzwaar rampdeck, waarbij de speler het aantal land snel wil verhogen om de kracht en taaiheid van Rubblehulk te vergroten. Hoewel Rubblehulk een sterke afmaker kan zijn in een dergelijk kaartspel, kunnen andere kaarten zoals Primeval Titan of Avenger of Zendikar consistentere en impactvollere effecten bieden. Rubblehulk zou echter nog steeds spel kunnen zien in meer casual of thematische decks die zich richten op landsynergie of agressieve strategieën.
