| Beschrijving | Secret: When an enemy casts a spell on a minion, summon a 1/3 as the new target. |
| Flavor | While it's fun to intercept enemy lightning bolts, a spellbender much prefers to intercept opposing Marks of the Wild. It just feels meaner. And blood elves... well, they're a little mean. |

Over Spellbender
Spellbender, Spell, ontworpen door Gonzalo Ordonez voor het eerst uitgebracht in november 2021 in de set Legacy and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Spellbender can be a valuable addition to a Mage deck focused on disrupting the opponent's spell-based strategies, especially in a meta where targeted spells are prevalent. While Spellbender offers a unique and potentially game-changing effect, other Mage secrets like Counterspell or Ice Block may be more consistent choices depending on the current meta and deck strategy. However, Spellbender's surprise factor and ability to protect key minions can make it a strong tech choice in certain matchups, making it a card worth considering for inclusion in a flexible Mage deck.
