Een kaartspel dat op kerkhoven is gericht, zoals de zelfmolenstrategie van Golgari of Sultai, zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Splinterfright vanwege het vermogen om in kracht en taaiheid te groeien op basis van het aantal wezenkaarten op het kerkhof. Hoewel er misschien efficiëntere wezens op het kerkhof voorkomen in Magic: the Gathering, kan Splinterfright nog steeds een solide toevoeging zijn aan decks die hun kerkhof als hulpbron willen gebruiken.
