De Exodar zou goed passen in een deck dat gericht is op het Starship-mechaniek, waarschijnlijk een combo- of controledeck dat tot doel heeft gebruik te maken van zijn unieke vermogen om een Starship te lanceren en een Protocol te kiezen, wat strategische flexibiliteit biedt.
