About Wervelwind Adept
Wervelwind Adept, Schepsel - djinn-monnik, designed by Steve Argyle first released in May, 2020 in the set Khans of Tarkir and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
De Whirlwind Adept-kaart zou ten goede komen aan een controle- of tempodeck dat zich richt op het uitspreken van niet-wezensspreuken om zijn Prowess-vaardigheid te activeren, waardoor het een krachtige bedreiging wordt terwijl het wordt beschermd door Hexproof. Hoewel het een sterke toevoeging aan zo'n kaartspel kan zijn, kunnen er betere opties zijn, zoals Delver of Secrets of Monastery Swiftspear, die een directere impact of synergie bieden met de strategie van het kaartspel, zodat de Whirlwind Adept misschien niet zoveel spel ziet in competitieve omgevingen.

Any spell you cast that doesn’t have the type creature will cause prowess to trigger. If a spell has multiple types, and one of those types is creature (such as an artifact creature), casting it won’t cause prowess to trigger. Playing a land also won’t cause prowess to trigger.

Once it triggers, prowess isn’t connected to the spell that caused it to trigger. If that spell is countered, prowess will still resolve.
