About Ammunae
Ammunae, Minion, designed by Sonderflex first released in september 2026 in the set Reign of the Black Empire.
Ammunae fits a slow, board-focused Deathrattle Druid deck that can follow it with cheap or high-value Deathrattle minions, using the copied bodies to generate extra deathrattle triggers, resummon effects, or sticky boards; it is especially appealing if the deck already wants to play several Deathrattle minions after turn 8 rather than merely revive them. However, the card is likely too slow and conditional for competitive play: spending 8 mana on a minion that provides no immediate board impact leaves it vulnerable to removal, silence, or simply losing before its effect pays off. Cheaper payoff cards such as Yelling Yodeler are generally better when you need immediate Deathrattle value, while N'Zoth-style resurrection payoffs are better for rebuilding after a board clear. Ammunae should only see play if the available Deathrattle pool has unusually powerful play effects or the format is slow enough to reliably play it and then exploit its aura; otherwise, it is more of a fun build-aroun
