Um deck de controle ou de tempo se beneficiaria com o uso do Snapcaster Mage devido à sua versatilidade em fornecer valor adicional ao reutilizar poderosas mágicas instantâneas ou feitiços do cemitério. Embora existam outros cards que podem cumprir funções semelhantes, como Torrential Gearhulk ou Jace, Vryn’s Prodigy, a eficiência e flexibilidade do Snapcaster Mage o tornam um forte candidato para inclusão em decks que dependem de feitiços instantâneos e de feitiço. You can cast a spell using flashback even if it was somehow put into your graveyard without having been cast.

“Flashback [cost]” means “You may cast this card from your graveyard by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost” and “If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack.”
