Overflow Surger would be beneficial in an Elemental Mage deck that focuses on playing Elementals consistently each turn to maximize its Battlecry potential. However, considering its high cost and the need for a specific deck archetype to support it, there may be better options such as Mana Giant or Mana Cyclone that offer more immediate value and versatility in a Mage deck. While Overflow Surger has potential in the right deck, it may not be a top choice for competitive play unless the Elemental synergy is strong enough to consistently trigger its Battlecry.
