A Shaman control deck would benefit from using Thunderquake, especially in aggressive minion-heavy metas, as it provides board clear potential and triggers the Overload mechanic efficiently. However, Lightning Storm may be considered a better alternative due to its potential to deal more damage and Overload only 2, making it a more versatile option for board control. While Thunderquake is situational, it can still see play in specific metas where its AoE damage and flexibility are valuable.
