This Hydralodon card could be beneficial in a midrange or control Hunter deck that focuses on board control and tempo. The ability to give it Rush with its Battlecry can help in removing enemy threats or pushing for face damage. However, considering its high cost and the need to have other minions on the board to benefit from the Colossal effect, it may not be as efficient as other cards like King Krush which provides immediate impact and finisher potential. Overall, while Hydralodon has its niche uses, there are likely better options for Hunter decks in the current meta.
