A deck that relies on having access to specific colors of mana, such as a green-white deck, would benefit from using Grasslands as it can help ensure consistent mana fixing by allowing you to search for either a Forest or Plains. However, there are better cards available for mana fixing, such as the fetch lands like Windswept Heath or Wooded Foothills, which can search for specific dual lands. Grasslands might not see as much play in competitive decks due to the availability of more efficient options, but it can still be a solid budget-friendly choice for casual play or decks that need additional color fixing.
