This card, Loose Specimen, could be beneficial in a deck that focuses on board control and has a lot of small, expendable minions. Decks like Token Druid or Zoo Warlock, which rely on flooding the board with minions, could make use of Loose Specimen's Battlecry to potentially clear out enemy threats while still keeping some minions on the board. However, there are better options available, such as Defile for Warlock or Swipe for Druid, which offer more consistent and targeted board clear effects. Loose Specimen may not see much play in competitive decks due to its randomness and potential to harm your own board.
