An Overgrown Horror would be a great addition to a Warlock deck focused on controlling the board and summoning powerful minions. The ability to reduce the cost of minions in your hand with Dark Gifts can lead to strong tempo plays and effectively flood the board with threats. However, there are better cards that offer similar effects such as Kanrethad Ebonlocke, whose effect is more consistent and impactful when it comes to reducing minion costs. Overgrown Horror may not see widespread play due to competition from stronger card options, but could still be a valuable addition in certain deck archetypes that require minion cost reduction.
