Rehgar Earthfury fits best in an aggressive or tempo‑oriented Shaman deck that can reliably attack with multiple minions the turn he comes down—such as Aggro Shaman, Token/Swarm Shaman, or any list using cheap, sticky minions or Rush/Charge synergies—since generating multiple Lightning Bolts rewards constant combat and board pressure; however, at 5 mana he competes with stronger, more immediately impactful Shaman cards like Inzah, Golganneth, the Thunderer, or even classic burn enablers like Bioluminescence setups and direct damage packages that provide faster lethality or stronger swing turns, so unless the deck is specifically built to exploit repeated attack triggers and spell generation, he is likely too slow and situational for top‑tier competitive play, making him more of a niche or mid‑tier synergy pick rather than a staple.
