Zuramat’s Prison would fit best in a discard-focused Warlock deck (such as Discard Warlock in Wild) or a slow control/attrition strategy that can turn the discard into upside (e.g., discarding High-cost demons with synergy like Hand of Gul’dan or Silverware Golem), because paying 5 mana and a card for a 5/5 Taunt is below rate unless you actively benefit from the discard or from the long-term value of repeatedly “freeing” Zuramat; however, compared to strong 5-mana neutrals like Sludge Belcher (more immediate defensive value), Zilliax (flexible, immediate impact), or class cards like Possessed Lackey/Voidcaller (which cheat out big demons without losing tempo), this card seems slow and risky, especially in faster metas where spending 5 mana for a conditional body can fall behind, so unless Zuramat’s repeated effect is game-winning on its own, it would likely be fringe at best and only see play in niche discard synergy builds rather than mainstream competitive decks.
