**Rioter** would fit best in an **Enrage Warrior** or damage-synergy Warrior deck, since those archetypes intentionally damage their own minions (with cards like Whirlwind effects or self-damage triggers) to gain bonuses, meaning Rioter can repeatedly buff minions that survive. However, it is generally considered too slow and low-impact compared to stronger synergy cards like **Anima Extractor** (which gives permanent stat buffs to minions in hand when yours take damage) or classic enrage payoffs like **Grommash Hellscream**, and even efficient tempo options often provide more immediate board impact. Because Rioter requires setup, board presence, and survival to generate incremental value, it typically does not see competitive play unless the meta strongly supports Enrage Warrior and lacks better buff engines.
