Shadowcrafter would fit best in a Thief/“burgle” Rogue deck that wants to generate cards from other classes while enabling Combo effects, especially alongside cheap cards that let you activate its ability reliably; however, its value depends heavily on its stats and on what “Assemble” means—if it simply discovers a random minion from another class, established options such as **Wand Thief** (for discovering an off-class spell), **Swashburglar**, or **Reconnaissance** generally offer more immediate or consistent value, while **Academic Espionage** supports a different, slower theft strategy. Unless Shadowcrafter has strong stats for two mana or Assemble offers unusually high-quality minions, it probably would not see competitive play because spending a Combo trigger for one off-class minion is less efficient than using Rogue’s stronger tempo, removal, or discovery cards.
