This card, Slippery Slope, would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on stalling the opponent and drawing cards for value. It could work well in a freeze mage deck that aims to control the board and draw into key combo pieces. However, considering the high cost of hs-2 deathknight, there may be better options available such as Frost Nova or Blizzard which provide similar effects at a lower cost, making Slippery Slope less likely to see play in competitive decks.
