This card, Wistful Thinking, could be beneficial in a deck focused on graveyard interaction or self-mill strategies, where discarding cards can be advantageous. However, there are better options available such as [[Mind Rake]] or [[Mind Rot]] which provide more efficient card advantage and disruption. Wistful Thinking may not see much play in competitive decks due to its high cost and the potential for it to backfire by enabling graveyard strategies for the opponent.
