About Tentacle Lash
Tentacle Lash, Weapon, designed by None first released in September 2026 in the set Reign of the Black Empire.
Tentacle Lash fits only a slow, off-meta Demon Hunter C’Thun-the-Shattered deck that wants extra ways to discount C’Thun while gaining value from repeatedly triggering one of his four spell effects; it is particularly suited to a control shell with healing, removal, and enough hero-attack support to safely swing the weapon. However, at 5 Mana it is generally too slow and conditional for competitive play, since it requires both playing the weapon and attacking before generating its payoff, and most Demon Hunter decks would rather use more efficient weapons and tempo tools such as Umpire’s Grasp for weapon-based builds or direct draw/removal cards for control builds. It can be a fun inclusion if the deck is fully committed to C’Thun and lacks other payoff cards, but it should not normally see serious play unless a future format gives Demon Hunter much stronger C’Thun-specific support.
