Introduction

The last set in the year of the Raptor is here! Across the Timewayslink outside website was released on November 4th and brought us 145 new cards, as well as two new keywords, and breathed some fresh air into the game.

As usual, many new decks with the new cards are already popping up. Today, we'll show you the 3 decks with the best win rates on HSReplay (consulted on November 5th, 2025) so you can get to Legend as soon as possible!

Bwonsamdi Death Knight

Main Strategy

Bwonsamdi Death Knight is one of the most fun lists in the current meta. It is also a great choice if you're looking for something new to play now that the new set is here.

The star that names the deck is Bwonsamdi, an uncraftable card that finds its way into your deck when you play Talanji of the Graves. This card puts Bwonsamdi in your deck and supports him, in fact.

When you play her, you'll draw Bwonsamdi or revive him if you've already played him once.

She will also give you one Boon out of three in total. Each one gives a new keyword (Lifesteal, Taunt, or Rush) to Bwonsamdi and buffs his Deathrattle effect.

This Deathrattle effect, in turn, puts a four-cost minion on your board, and this minion also gets the keywords from the Boon. Each Boon increases the cost of the minion by 2 more.

Talanji of the Graves brings another support card. What Befell Zandalar deals two damage to all enemies and gives another Boon, a new one, to Bwonsamdi.

This entirely new mechanic makes this deck really unique, but Bwonsamdi DK is also relatively easy to pilot. That's why it is a great deck for anyone looking for something powerful and new to climb.

The main idea is to give as many Boons to your minions as possible, preferably Lifesteal and Rush, so you can handle any enemy pressure. After that, try to reuse Bwonsamdi or his Deathrattle as many times as you can. Some cards that will let you do that are Wakener of Souls, High Cultist Herenn, and Endbringer Umbra.

You'll need a few rounds to buff and use your Bwonsamdi, particularly considering you want to revive him several times. So, we highly recommend you use Lifesteal and Rush Boons (to heal any life points you lost in this process) and play a few small minions, such as Ancient Raptor and Creature of Madness, as well as the spells Infested Breath and Sanguine Infestation. These spells will let you control how much pressure the opponent can put on you during the first few combats by giving you a few extra minions.

Win Condition

It's clear your win condition is Bwonsamdi, his buffed Deathrattle, and a few other cards (like the aforementioned Wakener of Souls, High Cultist Herenn, and Endbringer Umbra). You'll be a constant, huge threat for your opponent, nearly unstoppable!

Mulligan

Early on, your only goal is surviving, so don't be greedy. Try to get some cheap cards so you can defend yourself, like Morbid Swarm, Ancient Raptor, Creature of Madness, and Infested Breath, which are all interesting.

Against Zoo or token decks, which put a huge number of small minions on the board, try to start with What Befell Zandalar.

Shred Warlock

Loading icon

Main Strategy

This list centers around putting a specific type of card in your deck as you play. In this case, that's Shreds. Tachyon Barrage, Entropic Continuity, and Twilight Timehopper are great ways to do that.

However, this new mechanic is different from the mechanics in classic decks like Bomb Warrior and Garrote Rogue. In these lists, the idea is drawing the cards you add to your deck. Shred Warlock, on the other side, centers around leaving them there to buff a few minions, like Ruinous Velocidrake and Fatebreaker.

At the same time, Shred Warlock is aggressive and could be called a Zoo strategy. It plays cheap minions like Zergling, Giftwrapped Whelp, Flame Imp, and Dreadhound Handler and an AoE buff - Entropic Continuity.

Win Condition

Besides the minions you'll buff with Shreds, another great way to win matches is Devious Coyote. Because of Stealth, this minion will nearly always deal damage on the following turn. It might look a bit expensive, but you'll discount its cost by 1 less for each time the opponent took damage that turn.

So, cards like Horizon's Edge and Tachyon Barrage might let you play this Coyote for no mana at all!

Mulligan

Early on, you should look for cheap minions that can protect you, like Flame Imp, Giftwrapped Whelp, and Zergling.

Loading icon

If you want to risk it, you can keep Twilight Timehopper so you can start the game adding Shreds to your deck. However, you'll have to rely on your luck: if you draw them before you buff your minions, you'll lose a huge advantage and take a lot of damage.

Aggro Demon Hunter

Loading icon

Main Strategy

Finally, Aggro Demon Hunter is the best deck to climb the ranked ladder nowadays, as it has a 64.3% win rate according to HSReplay! Like most decks in this style, this one plays a few extremely cheap minions that can deal a lot of damage, like Battlefiend, Sock Puppet Slitherspear, and Spirit of the Team.

It is clear that you'll have to buff your own hero to deal actual damage and be aggressive. So, you'll need Time-Lost Glaive and Insect Claw, as well as your Hero Power and, consequently, Slumbering Sprite.

Win Condition

Because this is an aggro deck, it can end the match in many ways.

After you deal some damage early on with small minions and your hero, any threat will be lethal. So, you'll play a few very famous legendary cards.

Zilliax Deluxe 3000, with the Haywire and Power modules, will become twice as powerful after each turn. As for Kayn Sunfury, it deals damage the round you play it, thanks to its Charge, and is a way to go around Taunt.

Furthermore, considering your hero will attack several times, Aranna, Thrill Seeker is essential. After you play this card, with just one weapon or your Hero power, the idea is to strike a very powerful minion and sacrifice part of your life points so that you can deal that same damage to an enemy.

Finally, our last star has also come out in Across the Timeways. Perennial Serpent is a 7/9 that you can play for just four mana if you have any Dormant minion in play. As this list plays lots of minions with this keyword, like Slumbering Sprite, Grim Harvest, or Red Card, you'll have no trouble using this mechanic.

Mulligan

Ideally, you should try to get as many 1-cost cards as possible in your opening hand, like Battlefiend, Sock Puppet Slitherspear, Slumbering Sprite, and even the weapon, Time-Lost Glaive. This strategy is pretty straightforward, though: use these resources to deal as much damage to the enemy hero as possible, and win!

Final Words

Across the Timeways has put many decks in the highest tiers of the meta.
