This EVIL Totem card would be beneficial in a Shaman deck that focuses on generating value through the use of Lackeys. While there may be other cards that offer similar value generation, such as Sludge Slurper or EVIL Cable Rat, EVIL Totem's consistent Lackey generation makes it a strong contender for inclusion in such decks, especially ones that aim to maintain board presence and tempo.
