Introduction

Last Tuesday (September 2nd), another big update was released to Hearthstone. Now, players have 38 new cards to test out, and, as such, new decks might come along and breathe some fresh air into the meta.

As usual, we at Cards Realm brought you the most powerful decks in the game right now, a few days after the new Mini-Set came along. Below, check out the three best decks to get to Legend post Day of Rebirth, the new Hearthstone Mini-Set!

Please note: for this article, we collected data from HSReplay on September 3rd, 2025. More specifically, we won't just show you lists with new cards but rather the most powerful lists in the meta right now. So, the lists below might not play any cards from the new Mini-Set.

Beast Hunter

Beast Hunter was already one of the best options in the game after the last set came out, particularly because of City Chief Esho, and is still incredibly strong! It doesn't play any new cards from Day of Rebirth, but I highly recommend it if you want to climb fast.

The idea, as its name suggests, is to fill your board with the same type of minions - Beasts - and buffing them as much as you can with cards like Painted Canvasaur, Supreme Dinomancy, and City Chief Esho.

You will be able to summon many Beasts in just a few turns thanks to Workhorse, Mother Duck, and Ball of Spiders, as well as R.C. Rampage and other resources.

This list is simple and cheap. It only plays a few epics and one legendary that is uncraftable because all players have it by default. I strongly recommend it to newbies!

Win Condition

A big board full of buffs is already enough to win the game. But the main way you'll deal damage to the enemy board is Jungle Gym. This location deals damage according to how many Beasts are on your side of the board plus one to random enemies, so you can deal up to seven damage with it.

Of course, all your buffs will be essential to win, considering they'll keep your Beasts alive as you deal damage with Jungle Gym.

Mulligan - Opening Hand

The best way to progress your game plan from the very first turn onward is by keeping cheap cards that summon Beasts. So, go for cards like Catch of the Day, Scarab Keychain, and Remote Control.

You must look for Jungle Gym as early as possible. It won't be useful in the first few rounds, but it will make the enemy board less powerful as the game goes on and deal a lot of damage to your opponent directly throughout the entire match.

Pain Demon Hunter

Pain Demon Hunter, unlike the list above, isn't that great if you're a beginner. To play it well, you'll need to know a lot about the game, and it also has many legendaries, so you'll need more resources to craft it.

The main game plan is stalling the game with cards like Infestation, Insect Claw, and Hot Coals. Getting a potentially perfect card from Dreamplanner Zephrys is also a way to take back control of the game.

After you hold off pressure early on, you'll play Aranna, Thrill Seeker, which will redirect any damage your hero takes on your turn. She might seem weak on her own, but if you play her with Acupuncture and attack on your turn, she will be fatal.

Zilliax Deluxe 3000 with the Power and Haywire modules is a good call when Aranna is on your board because it will double its attack and, indirectly, deal three damage to a random enemy.

Win Condition

Obviously, your main win condition is Aranna, Thrill Seeker. You can win the match by just attacking with your hero and playing a few specific minions, like Zilliax Deluxe 3000 and Kayn Sunfury, but you'll hardly win the game without Aranna.

Mulligan - Opening Hand

Aranna is, undoubtedly, the most important minion in your final rounds, but she is also the most expensive card in this list. So, I don't recommend keeping her in your opening hand.

The idea is to hold off enemy attacks while you hoard resources, so go for Sock Puppet Slitherspear, Battlefiend, Spirit of the Team, and Tuskpiercer early on.

Aggro Paladin

Finally, we have the strongest and easiest list in the entire game - Aggro Paladin. Currently, its win rate is over 58%! This Paladin list will have you filling your board as soon as possible with as many minions as you can. It is similar to Beast Hunter but doesn't focus on a single minion type.

Most of the minions in this list (Righteous Protector, Coconut Cannoneer, Fire Fly, and more) only have 1 attack, but that's on purpose. Cards with 1 attack tend to be cheaper and become better once you play Busy-Bot.

This deck focuses on large-scale buffs, or global buffs, like Flash Sale and Crusader Aura, as well as the aforementioned Busy-Bot. Remember to use Muster for Battle as a quick way to make your board larger and, as such, get a lot more from your buffs.

After you build a large board with lots of minions, Zilliax Deluxe 3000 with the Pylon and Ticking modules will become critical. It'll put a lot of pressure on the opponent for just a small amount of mana.

Win Condition

This list doesn't rely on a single card to win. Any big board with lots of buffed minions will already be enough to annoy your opponent to death. Just try to be as aggressive as you can, don't spare any resources, and always deal damage to the opponent's face first.

Mulligan - Opening Hand

This mulligan is extremely easy. Focus on getting as many 1-cost cards as possible. The only minion that costs 2 mana in this list and could be interesting early on is Maze Guide.

A decent hand for Aggro Paladin looks like this:

Final Words

We all know Day of Rebirth still hasn't found much space in this Hearthstone meta. Nowadays, Mini-Sets often don't inspire us to build any relevant new decks, and it was no different this week.

But obviously, players are still testing out cards from this set all over the world, and, as Blizzard releases more updates, I'm sure at least one deck with Day of Rebirth will find some space!
