Galakrond, la Tempesta sarebbe utile in un mazzo Sciamano che si concentra sul controllo del campo e sul tempo, poiché fornisce immediata presenza sul campo con le Tempeste Rush. Anche se può essere una mossa forte in certe situazioni, ci sono altre carte come Hagatha la Strega o Shudderwock che offrono più valore e versatilità nei mazzi Sciamano. Se Galakrond, la Tempesta dovrebbe essere giocato dipende dalla strategia specifica del mazzo e dal meta, ma potrebbe essere una solida inclusione in un mazzo Sciamano midrange o tempo.
