Let's see which are the three decks that got stronger after Perils in Paradiselink outside website was released in Hearthstone.

This article was based on HS Replay data collected on July 24th, 2024. All decks on this list have at least 60.94% win rate.

Without further ado, let's see them!

Virus Control Warrior

Main Game Plan

As any great control deck, Virus Control focuses on stalling the game and takes on a defensive approach most of the time. It also uses Hamm, the Hungry so you can use Druid cards like Sleep Under the Stars, which give you even more safety and flexibility.

One of its main goals is to get as much armor as you can. Razorfen Rockstar, Needlerock Totem, Safety Goggles, and Shield Block are just a few of the cards that will help you do this; the list itself also has many other options that give you armor.

As this list is a bit heavier, mana is even more important. That's why New Heights is crucial. It gives you one empty mana crystal for the rest of the game, and increases your maximum mana by 3 - this means you'll have 13 mana at the end of the game.

Win Conditions

Virus Control Warrior is centered around Zilliax Deluxe 3000. Customize Zilliax with Virus Module and Perfect Module to turn it into a 4/6 minion that costs 9 and has the following keywords: Elusive, Poisonous, Reborn, Divine Shield, Taunt, Rush, and Lifesteal.

It is basically your most essential tool to deal with enemy pressure. As a result, we also have a few spells that make it easier to play it. For instance, Chemical Spill lets you play Zilliax as early as turn five.

Even though it has a downside (it deals five damage to the minion you summon with it), it won't be that much of a deal because it will hit only its Divine Shield. Zilliax will keep all its other benefits, and playing it on turn 5 will be extremely useful for you.

Considering Zilliax's Reborn as well, your opponent will have to kill it twice, and eventually Hydration Station will revive two Zilliax the first time you play it!

This list also includes Tidepool Pupil, which will give you even more copies of Hydration; from the second copy onwards, you'll be able to create three Zilliax with all its keywords. I'm sure your opponent won't be able to deal with it.

So, we may say that our win condition is to create as many Zilliax Deluxe 3000 as we can to stall the game, as well as to gain armor as much as we can. We'll do that until our opponent can no longer win the match.

Secret Hunter

Main Game Plan

As its name already tells us, Secret Hunter uses many secrets, besides cards that make the most out of them, like Starstrung Bow and Mantle Shaper.

I'll also highlight Product 9, which recasts all the secrets you played throughout your match, and thus is stronger when you play these types of spells.

This deck includes 2 copies of 5 different secrets, besides other cards that give you even more secrets, like Observer of Mysteries, Titanforged Traps, and even Product 9 itself.

Win Conditions

This deck doesn't have a well-defined win condition, but, just by playing with it, we can tell secrets are just another way to stall the game, besides boosting cards that depend on them.

Your actual victory will come from the damage dealt by Starstrung Bow, besides a few boosted minions.

To win with your minions, you can use Sneaky Snakes, which summons Snakes with Stealth. This will help you keep them alive until you can buff them with Bunch of Bananas and Camouflage Mount to kill your opponent.

Other great minions to do this are Animal Companions, which, despite not being on this list, you can summon through Patchwork Pals.

Handbuff Paladin

This deck currently has the best win rate on HS Replay: 62.64%. I'm even using it to climb ranks myself.

Main Game Plan

Its name is a bit self-explanatory. Your goal is to buff the minions in your hand.

To do that, first you'll fill your hand with minions, and then use cards like Grimestreet Outfitter, Painter's Virtue, and Muscle-o-Tron.

Of course that, to get the most out of these buffs, you need to have many minions in your hand first. So, this list also has some incredible card draw, like Instrument Tech, Astral Serpent, and Magatha, Bane of Music.

This deck doesn't play any spells, so you don't need to worry about Magatha, Bane of Music giving your opponent any resources.

Check out what this list can do with a board full of 1, 2, and 3-cost minions:

It's already quite a threat for your opponent.

Even though Handbuff Paladin isn't as slow as Virus Control, it's also not aggressive enough to put on pressure as early as turn 1. First, you'll need some time to buff your minions. It's not unusual to take some damage in the first few turns, so you'll also need Lifesteal.

Win Condition

This deck doesn't rely on a single, specific, critical card to win; you'll just need to create a big board. Of course, some minion combos may surprise your opponent and win you the game quite fast, so be on the lookout for them.

Leeroy Jenkins with Outfit Tailor, for instance, after you buffed them as much as you can, will easily deal more than 20 damage. Its Charge lets you attack with him on the same turn you play him, and not give your opponent any chance to block.

Here's what this combo looks like:

Another Charge minion you can use with Outfit Tailor is Southsea Deckhand. Just make sure to have a weapon equipped to activate its Charge, and keep in mind its base attack is smaller than Leeroy's.
